Resolute Base Camp is designed for youth currently in grades K thru 12 and adults of all ages to build character, explore nature, and have fun!
We offer a wide range of activities from pioneering to navigation to outdoor cooking. Learn how to fish, build a fire, learn basic first aid, try an orienteering course and throw a tomahawk. As the seasons change, we open different activity areas such as bb guns, archery, swimming and canoeing.
Scouts can work towards specific advancements and awards while non-Scouts can participate in fun outdoor activities and skills development. All activities are run by trained and certified staff. Many of the activities satisfy advancement requirements in both Cub and Scouts BSA programs, so it's a great opportunity for Scouts to work on a variety of advancement as they learn new and fun outdoor skills.
While Resolute Base Camp is designed to allow participants to go at their own pace, it can be fun to participate in activities as a group. Participants learn by doing, but also by watching and encouraging each other. We try to keep groupings to no more than 10 at a time to minimize downtime.
